Why Move to France?
France has all the ingredients that people thinking of living abroad look for: a good climate, unspoiled countryside, the culture, excellent health care, safe and secure environment, colourful traditions and history. France is one the world's favorite destination, with over 70 million overseas visitors each year.
Thousands of Brit's have second homes in France, while many thousands the live there permanently in total about 250.00, and it's easy to understand why: there's the climate of course, the food, the wine and the peace, quiet and a certain je ne sais quoi.
For the retired the attractions are many and varied, whether it is a holiday home or a pernament home it is a good place for the family to visit. They are able to take advantage of the French Health Care system, there is plenty of opportunity to make new friends, to travel and enjoy the delights of France. For early retired they have to consider their entitlement Heath cover, as they may not be coverd under the French system. They have to consider if it is better to keep the principle home in the UK so that they are entitled to UK Health Care, unless they are prepared to pay for Private Health cover in France.
For young people with Children there is the pull of good schools, good health care, freedom for the children to grow up in a secure environment which is not available in the UK and many other EU Countries.
